AFRICAN DANCE
Introductory program of African-based movement taught in an invigorating atmosphere. Move with poly-rhythm! Explore the cultural significance of the dances. African based movement is a great aerobic workout and it is fun! No experience is necessary. Any age is welcome. (Children may take class if accompanied by a parent.)

AFRICAN DRUMMING
Explore the basics of drumming. Traditional African rhythms and djembe techniques will be taught. We will have a facilitated drum circle, so you can get playing and have fun!
High-quality African drums (djembes) and instruments will be supplied for class use. Or you may bring your own to play.

GENTLE MOVEMENTS
This vibrant low-impact class combines gentle yoga, strength and stretch, guided dance, and meditation. Presented as a combined approach, selected activities help the body with balance, dexterity, strength, and circulation.)
